  • Private Tax Prep & Accounting Service:  Specializing in Tax Information for Ministers and consultation with various churches
  • Ring is a long time member of the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce.  She was the second woman to be elected as a Board Member and the second woman to be elected to serve as Chairman of the Board

Parents:
K. P. and Adelaide (deceased) Ring.  K.P. is the oldest of 13 children and Ring was the first grandchild on his side of the family.  During WWII, her father was stationed on a navy ship in the Pacific.  Ring says she can still “see” the troop train that he boarded in Hardy.  Her Father is a retired public school teacher and high school principal.  Ring can remember visiting a one-room school where he was teaching.  Until recent years, he served as a deacon in the home church- Rings Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.

  • Earl Ring, Houston, TX – three children, Robert & his wife Parsla (a native of Latvia) have been church workers in Latvia, part of old Russia

  • Wilma (Ring) Richter, Little Rock, AR
  • Ivetta (Ring) Black, Fayetteville, AR –two children, Shad and wife Melissa and children are serving with the (IMB) International Mission Board  in Niger

Service to the Community:

  • Served as foster parent to 12 children - three was the most at any one time.  Currently serve as an advocate for an individual housed in the Jonesboro Human Development Center.
  • Recorder/Treasurer of the City of College City, Arkansas: 1973 – current
  • Teaches and guides PreK through Senior Adults as they learn to be more “savvy” computer users. 

Church Affiliation

  • First Baptist Church of Walnut Ridge, AR
  • Currently serves as Chairperson of the Finance Committee.  Several years ago, Ring was the first woman to serve as chairperson of the Finance Committee.

Hobbies: Designing and creating baby quilts, placemats and napkins.
