WBC Department of Business Earns 20 Certificates at the 2010 State Phi Beta Lambda Competition
The 2010 Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) competition was another success for the Williams Department of Business. Seventeen students earned 20 certificates and 14 students qualified for the national PBL competition. The national PBL competition is July 9-12, 2010 in Nashville, Tennessee. If a student participated in a “team event”, first and second place are automatically qualified for the national competition. Third place is the alternate. If a student participated in an objective exam event, the first, second, and third place person qualifies to compete at the national competition. Fourth place is the alternate. The National Qualifying Event results are as follows:

In addition to the national events, the state PBL competition includes various open events. Open events are objective exams that anyone may complete. The national PBL competition will also have a variety of open events for our students to complete. The following are the results of the open events.
