Williams Department of Business Earns 26 Awards at 2009 PBL SLC


The 2009 Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) competition was a success for Williams Department of Business.  Sixteen students earned 26 certificates and 12 students qualified for the national PBL competition.  The national PBL competition is June 20-23, 2009 in Anaheim, California.  If a student participated in a “team event”, first and second place are automatically qualified for the national competition. Third place is the alternate.  If a student participated in an objective exam event, the first, second, and third place person qualifies to compete at the national competition. Fourth place is the alternate. The National Qualifying Event results are as follows:
