2009 Honors Luncheon
The 11th annual Business Honors Luncheon was held on Wednesday, April 1. Honors were presented for academic achievement and leadership. The 2009-2010 PBL officers were also announced.
Sigma Beta Delta is the business honor society. Two seniors, Jessica Sheffield and Ty Jones, and two juniors, Lauren Taylor and Andy Hayden were initiated into the society. Students must rank within the top 20 percent of the senior or junior class to be invited.

Honors in leadership and participation were also presented. The following is the list of winners:
- Best Underclassman—Mark Yawson
- Best CIS Major—Vitaliy Dymna
- Future Entrepreneur—Derick Watts
- Most Participation—Ty Jones
- Most Dependable—Kendra Partee
- Best Female—Rachel Burchfield
- Best Business Minor—Ashley Huth
- Turn-Around—Shane Stolz

Lastly, the 2009-2010 PBL officers were announced. Andy Hayden will serve as president. Mark Yawson will assist Andy as Vice-President. Finally, Lauren Taylor will serve as Secretary.
