2008 Business Honors Luncheon

The 10th annual Business Honors Luncheon was held on Wednesday, March 26.  Honors were presented for academic achievement and leadership.  The 2008-2009 PBL officers were also announced.

Sigma Beta Delta is the business honor society.  Two seniors, Terri Bailey and Nompumelelo Shezi, and one junior, Rachel Burchfield were initiated into the society.  Students must rank within the top 20 percent of the senior or junior class.  Miss Bailey was unable to attend the luncheon but the following photo is of Miss Shezi and Burchfield.

Honors in leadership and participation were also presented.  The following is the list of winners:

• Best Underclassman—Andy Hayden
• Best CIS Major—Reid Rogers
• Future Entrepreneur—Matt Jeffery
• Best Non-Traditional Student—Matthew Mitchell
• Most Participation—Paul Brown
• Most Dependable—Kendra Partee
• Best Female—Nompumelelo Shezi
• Best Business Minor—Amanda Haralson

Lastly, the 2008-2009 PBL officers were announced.  Jessica Sheffield will serve as president.  Kendra Partee will assist Jessica as Vice-President.  Finally, Rachel Burchfield will serve as Secretary.
